"African Merlot" is a quilted wallhanging that measures 54x62 inches. The center of the quilt is composed of simple four patch blocks made of an African fabric and dark brown fabric. The African border adds excitement and movement to the quilt.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. The fabric on the back is bright gold with brown dots.
The quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted. When I looked at the finished quilt, it reminded me of a wonderful glass of merlot wine.
"African Merlot" is one-of-a-kind. I signed and dated it on the front.
