"Getting Stronger and Stronger" is a hand quilted art quilt that captures the struggle of those battling breast cancer. The dominant colors are pink and brown. These colors represent the vulnerability of battling cancer and the strength of never giving up.
"Getting Stronger and Stronger measures 52x70 inches. It is hand quilted in big stitch in brown Pearle cotton thread so that the strength of the quilt would be dominant.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display if you want to hang it, but it is big enough to be a lap quilt. The fabric on the back is an African pink and gold motif depicting African women. A label on the back documents the quilt.
I signed it on the front. This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
