Flight Toward Freedom is a striking work of art although it is a traditional quilt. The flying geese blocks inspired the name. The Australian fabrics give the quilt an exotic feel, and the appliquéd words "flight" and "Freedom" make it a quilt with a message.
Flight Toward Freedom is pieced and quilted by machine. It measures 57x87 inches.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back in case you want to hang it, but it is large enough to be a lap quilt. The back of the quilt features a brown geometric print. There is a label on the back that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.
