“See the World With Me” is an art quilt that features Aboriginal and African fabrics. The piecing is improvisational, and I quilted it on my machine with variegated thread. You have to look close but travel words are appliquéd onto the top of the quilt. It is also embellished with charms and painted buttons.
The back of the quilt carries out the theme with travel fabric. There is a hanging sleeve for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.
