Live Loving the Simple Things, a 45x55 inch quilted embellished wallhanging

I love words in quilts. I want to make sure the message is crystal clear. Perhaps I get that from my training as a lawyer.

My quilt “Live Loving the Simple Things” speaks her message loud and clear. In addition to the printed panel that is the focus of this quilt, I added words that make living a life of simple abundance so enjoyable to me.

The quilt which measures 45x55 inches is framed by a happy yellow African print and embellished with buttons to add dimension to the flowers. I pieced it and quilted it on my Janome sewing machine.

The fabric on the pieced back of the quilt is a combination of an African village print and a floral batik. There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display, and a label that documents the quilt.

“Live Loving the Simple Things” is one-of-a-kind. I signed it on the front.
