Although it might not look traditional, “Dance With Me” is a traditional log cabin quilt. It starts in the center with an African woman dancing and the African strips continue round and round in the log cabin arrangement until the quilt measures 70x74 inches.
It was machine quilted by my friend Maxine Moore, and I washed it to give it that soft, well loved look.
The fabric on the back of “Dance With Me” is an African print. There is a hanging sleeve on the back of the quilt so that you can hang it if you like. It will look just as beautiful draped over the back of your sofa or with you cuddled under it. A label on the back documents the quilt.
I signed it on the front, although it is hard to see it.
