“Christmas at Walmart” can be either a lap quilt or a wallhanging. It measures 50x63 inches. Most of the fabrics were purchased at Walmart because I wanted to capture my memories of shopping at Walmart during the Christmas season in my small hometown in Crossett, Arkansas.
“Christmas at Walmart” is a strip quilt made of 2 1/2 inch strips of holiday fabrics sewn together randomly. The holiday themed quilting pattern quilted into the background of the quilt carries out the theme of the quilt. It was machine quilted by Maxine Moore on her long arm.
The fabric on the back of the quilt is a flannel Christmas fabric. There is a hanging sleeve on the back in case you want to hang it rather than use it as a lap quilt. A label documents the quilt.
This quilt is one-of-a-kind. I signed it on the front.
