The annual jazz festival held Memorial Day Weekend in Piedmont Park is a longstanding Atlanta tradition to kick off summer. The ladies in this quilt are so hot I just knew they were sweating in the park getting their groove on.

There is a hanging sleeve on the back and a label that documents the quilt. It is pieced, appliquéd and quilted by machine. Crystal embellishments add bling to the outfits and appliquéd words carry out the theme of the quilt.

This quilt will be part of the 2018 Atlanta Quilt Festival exhibit. It opens at noon August 5, 2018 at South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA 30349. The exhibit continues through August 31st. I hope you can check it out. #ovsmarvelousmay
